Quality Excavating
Roads & Driveways scope
Length, slope, traffic, soft areas and drainage crossings determine what a road needs. We identify obvious water paths, establish a practical profile and coordinate stone delivery. Maintenance will still depend on use and weather, but a sound base and controlled runoff give the surface a better start.
Every property is different. Rather than forcing a standard package onto the job, Quality Excavating prices the specific access, earthwork, material and finish needed for the next phase.
- New private roads and driveways
- Construction and property access
- Subgrade shaping and gravel placement
- Ditches, cross-drainage and turnarounds

Quality Excavating
Coordinate the connected work
Most site-work problems happen at the handoff between services. An excavation needs somewhere for water to go. A pad needs reliable access. A driveway needs a stable subgrade and cross-drainage. We can review those connections together and include related work in one clear estimate.
Quality Excavating
From site walk to final pass
A useful estimate starts on the ground. We review access, slopes, water movement, material needs, existing improvements and the intended finished use. The written scope identifies the work being priced so owners, builders and contractors can coordinate the next trade without guessing.
Once scheduled, we stage the right equipment, complete the agreed earthwork and make a final pass through the work area. Conditions below grade can change a plan; when they do, we explain the issue and discuss the practical options before extending the scope.

Quality Excavating
Built for East Tennessee ground
Properties around Seymour, Knoxville, Sevierville, and surrounding areas combine clay, rock, wooded slopes and concentrated stormwater. Successful site work is not only about moving dirt quickly. The cut, fill, access and drainage must work together for the building plan and the terrain.
Quality Excavating serves projects within approximately 70 miles of Seymour. Project fit depends on location, access, scope and schedule, so the best first step is to call or send the property address with a short description.

What makes a gravel driveway hold up?
A sound subgrade and controlled runoff matter more than the surface stone. Water allowed to travel down or across a driveway will move material. Maintenance still depends on use and weather, but a stable base and a planned water path give the surface a better start.
Do you install culverts as part of driveway work?
Yes. Ditches, cross-drainage and pipe or culverts are handled as part of the access scope where the route needs them, because a road and its drainage have to be built as one system.
Can you improve an existing road instead of rebuilding it?
Often, yes. Soft areas, a poor profile, failed drainage crossings and thin stone can each be addressed. A site walk identifies which of those is actually causing the problem before work is priced.
Do you supply the gravel as well?
Yes. Gravel and aggregate delivery is coordinated with the earthwork so material arrives when the subgrade is ready for it, rather than being dumped and moved twice.
